Bento Book Reporting

With Bento Book Reporting, you can now effortlessly access and print daily reports before, during, or after a shift. This feature empowers operators to analyze trends, optimize staff, and enhance restaurant efficiency.

Bento Book Reporting can be accessed at any time from the home tab by clicking the graph icon.

From the Reporting tab, view trends, guest lists, average turn times, and more.

Information available with Bento Book Reporting:

  1. Spread of covers by 15 minute blocks. Each square represents a party with cover count.

    • Red = Walk In

    • Blue = Reservation

    • Dark Blue = Large Party

    • Strikethrough = Cancellation or No-Show

  2. Wait times, including actual vs. quoted

  3. Average turn times, from seated to finished

  4. Total parties and cover count

    • Located below the calendar bar near the top

    • Counts do not include cancellations or no-shows

  5. List of guests by time

    • Filter the list by VIP guests or Large Parties

  6. Historic, current, and future dates

    • Navigate through dates using the calendar bar near the top

Printing and Sending Reports

Reports can be printed or emailed by clicking the button in the bottom right corner of the Reporting screen. Reports will print on a regular printer through Airprint, which is setup under the iPad settings.

After clicking Print or Email, a window will pop up to preview your report and toggle on various sections to include.

When Email is selected, the preview window will include a field to add email recipients.
