This is an important step to ensure your customers are able to successfully place orders leading up to, and at the end of, your desired operation hours.
BentoBox and Clover handle scheduled orders and prep time differently:
- Clover views store hours as the operational hours of your business. Clover considers prep time and delivery time as part of that range.
- BentoBox views store hours as the window of time that diners can place and receive orders. BentoBox does not consider order prep time or delivery times as part of that range.
Store Open - Pickup Example:
My store hours are 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. My team can start prepping orders at 10:00 a.m., and our prep time is 30 minutes. The earliest time a diner could pick up their order is 10:30 a.m.
