Depending on the variety of items you sell in your online store or catering store, you might want to set up categories so that guests can easily find what they’re looking for. For example, if you sell T-Shirts and Jam, you might want to make one category for Apparel and one category for Food.
Every category you create and add items to will show up as a tab in your online store, as well as have its own unique URL you can use to share specific sections with your guests.
How to Add a New Store Category
To get started, log into your BentoBox backend, and click on Products or Catering Products under the Store heading on the left hand sidebar. Open up one of your products by clicking the edit icon.
In the right Settings column, scroll down to Categories and enter your desired category into the “New Category” box. Add as many as you need.
You can reorder your products at any time. Hit "Save" to view your changes in the front end.
Deleting a Category
To delete a category, click on the X icon next to the one you wish to remove and hit the "Save" button at the top for the change to reflect in the front end.
When you delete a category from a product, it removes it from the entire Store or Catering Products list.
