How to Create a Menu
Edited

BentoBox's Online Ordering menus are a collection of items that can be grouped into meaningful sections for your guests. Section examples within a menu could be Appetizers, Salads, Entrees, and Desserts.

To create a menu within the BentoBox backend, first navigate to “Online Ordering.”

Menu Name: This will be the name of your menu used internally by your staff.

Important Note: Your guests will never see this name on your menu.

Location Settings: Select the location(s) that should use this menu.

Important Note: Your guests will not see this menu until Menu Hours are associated to it.

Menu Header Image: Recommended. For the best image quality on your website, we typically suggest uploading photos that are shot wide. If you upload images that are vertical, BentoBox will stretch the image from side to side in order to fill the full width image field. Learn more about photography specs here.

This is what the menu header image will look like in your Online Ordering page.
