Customizations to checkout page

I am interested in adding customizations to my checkout page. In particular, I'd like to be able to show customers a warning that local delivery requires a 3-hour window, rather than allow them to choose exact times in 15-minute increments, as by default from BentoBox.

The help documentation mentions that checkout customizations are available under the "store settings" menu, and states that the "additional styles" box requires javascript.

I've tried a bunch of javascript and css in that code box and I can't seem to get anything to load on my checkout pages. Can someone provide an example of valid code that we can use in that area?

  Hi,

  We recently determined that it would not be secure to allow modifications to the checkout page via javascript and removed this functionality. We unfortunately did not remove it from the settings page and documentation (this will be updated shortly). I apologize for the confusion.

  Currently we only support exact times for the local delivery dates. We also do not have a way to customize the messaging around pickup options. We are filing a feature request for this as we think that it would make sense to allow this capability.
