For example: restaurant.com/bentobox

Step 2: Create items for Takeout & Delivery.

Next, it's time to add your items. In this video, you will learn how to add new items, their descriptions, add-ons, modifiers, and other details.

Before you watch, it’s important to understand the relationship between items, menus, and locations. When guests place an order for any given location, they first must select their fulfillment date, time, and method (i.e. pickup today at 5PM). Based on that selection, we show the one menu that’s applicable for that fulfillment method and timing. So as you create menus, remember that your menus cannot overlap. If you want to have brunch and lunch available at the same time, all of those items will need to be available in one menu for the hours of overlap. For example, you could have breakfast available from 8AM to 10AM, brunch for 10AM to noon, and then lunch only for noon to 2PM.

The flow that you will move through in this self-setup fee are:

  1. Creating an item library to cover every item across all of your menus.

  2. Setting up menus to cover your offerings across all weeks.

  3. Adding items to each menu.

  4. Associate menu hours for your location(s).

Step 3: Now that you’ve added your items, create your menus.
